On the innovative corner of 40th Street and Campbell in the heart of what used to be an Arcadia Orange grove, sits one of the newest concepts in convenience stores. La Grande Orange Grocery opens its doors not only as a neighborhood grocery but a cafe and caterer all under one roof and brings together a fraternity of chefs and other artists to serve the community. La Grande Orange Grocery offers a variety of convenience items as well as delicious and freshly prepared food made to order, one-of-a-kind cakes, pastries and desserts, rare yet affordable wines, beautifully creative flower arrangements, freshly brewed coffee and specialty drinks, and much more. A collaboration of chefs and artists share their specialties to offer one stop shopping just around the corner.

The design is innovative, fresh and contemporary.

The shelves of La Grande Orange are filled with everyday groceries from Campbell soup, charcoal and dog food to the more gourmet like champagne vinegar, sweet potato chips and imported olives. Toiletries of all types can be found in tin bins along the wall, a refrigerated area holds cheeses, beer and much more while a retro ice cream cart is filled with favorites like drum sticks, fudgesicles and pushups. Local growers sell their fresh fruits and vegetables of the season and an assortment of breads are brought in each day. A stand at the store's entrance holds a large selection of daily newspapers.

As a café, La Grande Orange offers the finest in French inspired yet simple American food that tastes good and travels well. Executive Chef Doug Robson has developed a breakfast menu filled with favorites like poached eggs on toast, French pancakes, house granola and yogurt, fruit with crème fraiche and homemade English muffins as well as several lunch items. Dine in at one of the indoor tables nestled within the store or outdoors in the coffee garden, or you can take the food to go. You can even call the order in and someone will deliver it out to your car.
